NAR is a webportfolio about architecture, search and practice developed by Nuno Arenga at his own office, and on colaboration with other architects and teams. Nuno Arenga is an architect. He works on architecture projects and teaches Project in FAUL, Lisbon. He started his architecture studies in 1987 at FAUP, Porto, where he had class with Fernando Távora in his unforgettable lectures. Álvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura, Alexandre Alves Costa, Sérgio Fernandez, among others, were references in the so called “Escola do Porto”. In 1992 he graduates in Architecture at FAUTL, Lisbon, where he studies Project with Manuel Graça Dias and Manuel Aires Mateus, two remarkable architects and inspiring professors. From 1992 to 1996 Nuno Arenga works with Vítor Figueiredo, in his last years and outstanding trilogy of public university buildings projects: Mitra in Évora University; ESAD in Caldas da Raínha (1998 SECIL prize); and Auditoriums Complex at Aveiro University. Vitor Figueiredo (1929-2004) was at the time an exceptional master architect whose office was a place of singular thought, practice, and unforgettable learning. In 1996 Nuno Arenga started his own practice office and entered FAUL as a Professor, starting his teaching practice on Architecture, Project, and Drawing. In 2009 he graduates an Architecture PhD at FAUL. Since 2017 Nuno Arenga is working with PMC architects as a senior architect and co-author. PMC is Carlos Coelho, Gorka Goitia and Miguel Passos de Almeida's office and team. In the beginning of 2022, the office became AAVV architects. Nuno Arenga, n.
